Today is Laura Felicity Design’s 5th Birthday!

I am absolutely ecstatic that LFD has reached its 5 year mark!

It’s been after a lot of hard work, long hours and determination to get a business off the ground (and during a couple of recessions!), and it’s finally starting to mold into a company I am proud to be apart of.
Today I will be celebrating with a (gluten free) cupcake in hand, but I also have two new wallpaper designs that have been behind the scenes waiting to be released for this very special occasion!
Everybody please welcome NEST EGG and GEO to the Laura Felicity Design Wallpaper Collection!
These two new wallpapers are apart of the new Digital Print collection, and even though they aren’t screen printed by hand (by me), they still feel apart of the Laura Felicity Design brand.
NEST EGG
Nest Egg fits very closely into the Laura Felicity Designs portfolio, with a design inspired by Spitalfields Vintage Market. I love to wonder around this market especially in the vintage section, and have been really inspired by the old keys and pocket watches I see on my visits.
At the time of designing a new pattern, the spring blossoms were in bloom, and I kept seeing duck eggs around…Combine all of these inspirations together and Nest Egg was born!

GEO
Geo is my newest design, and I’m really excited about how different it is. A bold, geometric print, Geo is perfect for creating a striking design statement in your home. Also inspired by wandering around a market – this time the Brick Lane Sunday Market, I came across some incredible geometric jewellery where the colours and lines tied into to my love for Kandinsky. So I researched all things geometric and complimenting colours to tie in with the Laura Felicity Design signature tones, and Geo was created!

And that’s not all…
You’ll soon be able to complete the look with the range of complementary screen-printed homewares, including cushions, lampshades, lavender bags and art prints as well.
I can’t wait to hear what you think of the new designs.
