Beautifully Bespoke & On Brand, part 2.

In October 2016 I wrote about Essendon Country Club, and their Bespoke Commission for their Ladies Changing Room.
Additionally you can read about here.

Needless to say the Owners of the Essendon Country Club loved the result. And therefore decided to have another feature wall, within the venue. This time on show for all members and guests to see.
Recently refurbished, painted, upholstered and decorated was the Dining Area for Members and guests. But there was one thing missing, a feature wall design.

As you can see above, this specific wall has been painted in the same colour as the surrounding area. However, being off set and framed, means it called out for a statement feature. It has to be subtle, to not distract from the main focus, being the TV.
The beauty behind the pattern design I drew for their original Bespoke Commission, is we could change and adapt the colour. Because the wallpaper could then be hung elsewhere around the venue, if needed.
In the Ladies Changing Room, we used a light taupe and grey colour combination, to go with the seating area throughout the room. Plus we wanted to keep it warm and inviting, hence the warm tone of taupe.

The New Dining Area

However, Essendon Country Club’s member’s Dining Area needed a different colour palette for the wallpaper.
Their decorator has painted a bespoke mix of dark grey paint on particular walls throughout Essendon’s venue.
Using Farrow & Ball’s Cornforth White, on the rest.
The upholstery in the dining area is a combination of dark grey leatherette seating, mixed with pops of lime green chairs. To also brighten the area up.

As a result, after suggesting a few colour options for the feature wallpaper, we decided to go with the original light grey. Combining this with another bespoke colour, to compliment the dark grey paint, and logo design.
Because one colour can has changed, the design of the wallpaper feels light, airy and mutual. For all to enjoy. What do you think?
And finally, if you’re ever in Hertfordshire, you have to pop along to see Essendon Country Club’s Dining Area.
Also, make sure you have a spot of lunch with the family, or a catch up cup of tea with a friend.
Furthermore, do you fancy going Bespoke within your home or business?
Yes! Additionally please get in touch, and I can help you Get The Look.
Best Wishes,
